Kristine Jaung

Kristine Jaung started her insurance career soon after graduating from U. C. Santa Barbara a few years ago. Recommended by a fellow professional agent, she joined Fulcrum in January 2012.

As one of Mercury Insurance's fastest growing agencies in 2011, Fulcrum was rewarded with a packaged trip to St. Regis Resort in Hawaii. Mercury's marketing executive Daniel Tencate marked the occasion in January 2012 with Fulcrum's surfing partners Sean, Roger, Richard and Brian.

Below is adapted from an article in a national magazine:

Through a sales contest sponsored by Safeco Insurance, Fulcrum Insurance Center in California won almost $11,000 for the charity of their choice. Senior partner Harvey Kong said "We chose to donate the grand prize and our winnings of $10,875 to the Make a Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles for two main reasons - the donation benefits local children, and a high percentage of our donation indeed flows directly to the cause."

Fulcrum Insurance Center beat out thousands of agencies in California in the 2010 contest. Harvey added that everyone at Fulcrum was motivated to work hard to win this contest. "We shoot for the moon and this time we hit it," he said. "Every one of us can connect to all the good things the Make A Wish Foundation provides to needy children."

How did they do it? Good old fashioned hard work. "We wish we had a magic wand, but we were equipped with the same tools and faced the same opportunities as other agencies. We achieved more with hard work and perseverance," said Harvey.
